We invite our members and allies to join us on 11/7/26 for this annual event.

- Co-chair, Dena Eakles will speak to our mission and future plans in an introductory video.
- Co-secretary Erika Bach, as em-cee, will introduce the current Board members. Here is the site for names and contact information of the current Board. No changes noted for the coming year.
- Erika will introduce a few of the Peace Warriors we’ve lost this year, adding a chance for our members to contribute names of others you know in your communities who have passed on this year. There will be a special section of our upcoming Network News newsletter dedicated to Will WIlliams, Al Gedicks, Don Timmerman, Joan Kemble and others…
- Co-treasurer Shahzad Hussain will provide information on our financial status, seeking approval from members on the proposed Budget for next year.
- Co-treasurer John Peck and the Board have developed a plan called the WNPJ Social Justice Action Grant Project. We are excited to be able to offer this new small grants programs after approval at the Nov. 7th meeting. We will be using membership income for these grants – giving back to our members! You, our 97 member groups and ~100 individual members, have been generous in supporting the work of WNPJ this year. We want to provide support now for the work you’re doing for peace and justice across Wisconsin. You can learn more here about the application process and criteria here.
- We will then hear from our film-maker, Nadja Nordstrom, who has completed one short film on our 35th anniversary. She is currently working on a 25-minute video for WNPJ.
- Next comes an open mic period, moderated by Erika and Debra Gillispie, when you will have an opportunity to tell others on the call about your upcoming events and alerts, providing your ideas to WNPJ on suggestions for benefits we can provide in support of your work in the coming year. Tim Cordon of Building Unity will be on the call, to talk about his road trip for Democracy throughout WI this last month!
- And finally, our co-chair, Christine Olson will summarize our WNPJ work this last year in a State of the Network address.
Looking forward to meeting with you all next week!
Judy Miner co-secretary
