WNPJ Social Justice Action Grants
The Wisconsin Network for Peace and Justice (WNPJ) is excited to invite grassroots organizations in Wisconsin to apply for our new Social Justice Action grants!
These grants are designed for grassroots organizations who may not have other funding options (for example may not have a IRS 501 c(3) status) and for others who are lower budget (under $100,000) and may need some extra help to get a project or campaign underway.

WNPJ’s Social Justice Action grants are awarded on a rolling basis, as folks apply, and will range from $500 to $1000. These grants are designed for the following: grassroots organizing – such as providing stipends for volunteer activists (not paid staff or consultant services); material support for actions or campaigns – such as printing, supplies, artwork (not capital equipment purchases); and for popular media outreach – such as podcasts, documentary production, ‘zines (not website hosting or streaming services). This grant is not meant for partisan political activity or legal defense advocacy.
To apply, please submit a brief application (3-4 paragraphs), describing your project/event/campaign; brief budget, and why WNPJ should support such. How does your work advance peace and social justice in Wisconsin? How will this effort make our world a better place? Also be sure to include your contact information with your application. Our board will get back in touch if they have any followup questions.
Send to info@wnpj.org before November 2027.
