| Director Amanda Powers of the Wisconsin Office of Violence Prevention is joining WAVE and Moms Demand Action for Together Tuesday, on June 23rd. She’ll share what the office has accomplished and what advocates are working toward next. Tuesday, June 23rd: Together Tuesday for Safer Communities 6:00 PM CT Zoom (Register now and we’ll send you the link the day of the meeting.) |
| This year, Wisconsin’s Office of Violence Prevention is awarding $15 million to lifesaving programs across the state. This means dozens of organizations across the state are receiving funding to work toward a shared goal–a Wisconsin where our communities are peaceful and where all people feel safe. Director Powers will walk us through what that investment looks like and why continued advocacy is crucial to sustaining these life-saving programs. On Together Tuesday, we recognize the power of people who show up for their communities. There is no better way to mark it than by gathering across organizations to hear about what our collective work has made possible and what we can still do to save lives. |
