The 17th Annual WI Grassroots Festival – Sun Prairie
The WI Grassroots Festival needs our help! Register today!
The 17th Annual Wisconsin Grassroots Festival is Saturday, Oct. 10, 8:00am – 5:30pm at Central Heights Middle School, Sun Prairie.
Unless registration increases significantly this week, we will be forced to cancel.
Citizen experts in our 15 breakout sessions address the urgent issues that bring us together: AI data centers, immigration, the manosphere, disability rights, a lawsuit against the WI legislature for not funding public schools, rights of nature, and more.
Our keynoters will address the erosion of women’s rights and How Not to Feel Powerless.
Author and journalist John Nichols will be there as always! So will The Raging Grannies of Madison, plus the spectacular aerial dance performance, “Up to Something”.
Sun Prairie students will be there: a Hmong student dance group, a student art exhibit, and a keynote speaker from this year’s graduating class.
You’ll also see “Dancing the Dream: A New Hope for Humanity” presented by Art and Dawn Shegonee. Its message is what we need now!
In times like these we need to put our heads together in person.
And have some fun too!
REGISTER ONLINE OR BY MAIL….NOW!
Warmest regards,
Mary Sanderson, member of The Raging Grannies of Madison
