About our presenter:

Anthony Pahnke is the Vice President of the Wisconsin-based Family Farm
Defenders and an Associate Professor of International Relations at San Francisco
State University.  He has written on the politics of agriculture and immigration in
many places, including in his books “Mobilizing Hope, Fighting for Change: Food
Sovereignty Movements and Alliance Making in the United States (2025)” and
“Agrarian Crisis in the United States: Pathways for Reform (2023)”
