121st Anniversary Celebration of the WI Civil Service – Madison

Wed. June 17, 5– 6:30 pm.  121^st Anniversary Celebration of the Wisconsin Civil Service. At the  State St. Steps. Meet supporters from the labor movement including AFSCME, AFT and other good government groups that have always supported Wisconsin Civil Service. WI Civil Service was first signed into law on this date back in 1905 by Gov. (Fightin’ Bob) LaFollette as a key achievement of the Progressive Movement.
