Labor Fest! – Madison
Mon. Sept. 7th 12:00 Noon – 5:00 pm Labor Fest! at Madison Labor Temple (1602 S. Park St.)
Hips Don’t Lie – Shakira Tribute Band and Chris O’Leary Band will perform. Kids activities include a bounce house, magic shows, face painting, and balloon twisting. Labor-Fest is free and open to the public. Food and beverages available for purchase. SCFL’s Community Services Committee will be taking collections for students whose families are homeless or in unstable housing. $25 gift cards (St. Vincent de Paul and Goodwill encouraged), backpacks-especially for high-school students-markers, colored pencils, fidgets, and African American hair-care products.
