This year’s U.N. International Women’s Day theme is “For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.” If ever there was a time to celebrate and fight for these goals for women and girls, it is NOW! ALL women. ALL girls. And, we will add, for ALL female-presenting individuals.

On these first 11 days of the "March to Election Day Tour," we hope to make stops in over a 18 communities including Columbus, (That city really needs to change its name.) Beaver Dam, Fond du Lac, the Brothertown Nation, Oshkosh, Appleton, the Oneida Nation, Green Bay, the Menominee Nation, Manitowoc, Sheboygan, and Metropolitan Milwaukee.

We are in an unprecedented time of danger and uncertainty. Fascism is on the rise at home and around the globe. Many of us are vulnerable to severe and violent oppression and to the erosion of basic human rights and needs.

It is our duty to resist fascism and all types of oppression and to build a united movement for the good of all.

Three of the most important things that we can do at this time is to:

* find each other,

* get organized for solidarity and collaborative action,

* And, take every opportunity to elect leaders who share our commitment for Peace, Justice, Sustainability, & Democracy.

The March to Election Day Tour can help us do all three. At each tour stop we’ll listen and learn; share plans and ideas; show up for each other, take turns, and explore the possibilities of acting together.

The tour will focus on building an “All People’s Movement” grounded in solidarity. We will explore solidarity actions to address critical goals like these:

* Ending U.S. support for genocide and crimes against humanity.

* Learning how we can better keep each other safe (especially our immigrant, BIPOC, and transgender neighbors.)

* Helping Indigenous water protectors Stop Line 5!

* Demanding universal health care that includes legal and safe abortion care.

* Educating and activating voters to realize the extreme importance of the April 1st Wisconsin Supreme Court race.

* Getting more organized as a united movement for peace, justice, sustainability and democracy.

Please fill out this form (tinyurl.com/Tour-Support-Sign-up) to show your support for this tour in any number of ways. Filling out this form doesn’t commit you to doing anything. We will contact you to explore the specific possibilities for your participation.

If you have the capacity to help with securing one or more of our three basic tour stop needs, in any Wisconsin community:

* One or more places to park the UnityMobile for a day (preferably with good public exposure and close to the site for our gathering.)

* An indoor space where 30 or more people could gather.

* One night indoor sleeping space (floorspace is okay) & bathroom access for 1 or more tour volunteers. (This could be in a private home, a house of worship, a commercial space, etc…)

And, we’ll appreciate your help publicizing a tour to other groups or individuals that might also want to support the Tour.

Sign on and share the Tour Invitation Letter: tinyurl.com/Support-Tour-Invitation and share this Facebook Event Page.

Check back to this Facebook Event Post or to our Tour Info Page (tinyurl.com/March-to-Election-Day-Tour) as our schedule for the tour will be posted as soon as it is solidified.

For more information about how you can help the success of the Tour, please call Building Unity at 608-630-3633.

And in April.....a Unity Gathering in Milwaukee!

It will be an opportunity for groups who work for peace, justice, sustainability, and/or democracy to unite and explore collaborative action in a big way.

* Day 1 (April 5th) will contain facilitated conversations about how to build a statewide coordination network between our groups.

* Day 2 (April 6th) will be optional. Those who are able to give a second day to this project can start forming working groups that will start working on the plans made on Day 1.

* Save the dates (April 5th & 6th, 2025) and plan on sending one - three representatives from your group. Times - TBD.

Each of your group’s representative(s) should apply here: tinyurl.com/AUG-Application. If for any reason, your group needs to send more than three representatives, please call Building Unity and let us know (608-630-3633).

* Sign on (tinyurl.com/AUG-Invitation-Letter-Sign-on) and share this Invitation Letter (tinyurl.com/AUG-Invite-Letter) with groups that you’d like to share the gathering with.

* Help Create the April Unity Gathering by dropping in on any portions of our two weekly planning meetings: Weds. at 10:00 am or Thurs. at 5:00 pm via Zoom - Call Building Unity to get the Zoom link. (608-630-3633)
