2009/08/26:Madison citizens organize to defend free speech and "tabling"

Madison police have become increasing aggressive against nonprofit groups who set up literature tables on public property, issuing fines of several hundred dollars to some groups. In response, citizens are organizing to defend their free speech rights, and are calling for a clarification of the public ordinance being used against the "tablers."
