Martin Luther King Jr. Community Prayer Meeting - Fond du Lac Jan 17

Event Dates:

Martin Luther King, Jr. was born January 15, 1929. A national holiday commemorates him yearly the third Monday in January.  This year we honor Dr. King on January 17th, but his messages MUST be remembered every day in our continuing need to disrupt and end systemic racism and white nationalism, and to protect the rights of the economically disadvantaged in peaceful ways. What will you do today to honor Dr. Kings' legacy?

"The time is always right to do the right thing. If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way. “Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle.” – Martin Luther King Jr.
