Facing Apartheid in Israel/Palestine - webinar Oct 17

Event Dates:

Facing Apartheid in Israel/Palestine

Sunday, October 17, 2021
1 – 2:30 p.m. Central Time
Via Zoom - Directly to Your Home from Ramallah and Jerusalem

Israel’s leading human rights organization, B’Tselem, recently released its landmark report: A regime of Jewish supremacy from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea: This is Apartheid.

This report came in the same year as Human Rights Watch’s publication, A Threshold Crossed: Israeli Authorities and the Crimes of Apartheid and Persecution.

The world is beginning to acknowledge this brutal reality.

Join us to hear about Israeli apartheid and to ask questions of two extraordinary leaders on the front lines.

  • Why are Israel’s policies characterized as apartheid?
  • What is the significance of these reports – for the region and for U.S. policy?
  • What is apartheid’s impact on Palestinian society and economy?
  • How does it impact the daily life of Palestinians, inside and outside the ‘green line’?
  • What can we do?
