Spotlight on a WNPJ Member Group - The Peregrine Forum of Wisconsin

The Peregrine Forum of Wisconsin is a non profit organization with a variety of interests. Established in 2004 by David Williams, the Peregrine Forum of Wisconsin is a group promoting radical, green transformation for the world. The organization promotes this mission through community forums, film screenings, and sharing of educational literature.

Community involvement is a significant aspect of the Peregrine Forum of Wisconsin – in fact, the organization thrives on and is dependent on the support of others. The Peregrine Forum of Wisconsin is quite an active group and has a few events coming up in August.

One event that helps showcase this attribute is through dinner meetings, like the Radicals and Progressives Meet & Eat. This upcoming event will take place on Thursday, August 19th at 6pm at the Ichiban Restaurant, which is located at 610 S. Park Street in Madison, WI. This is a great opportunity for those with different ideas to connect over a meal and to get to know one another. For more information, interested parties can contact 608-284-9082.

The second event will take place on Sunday, August 22nd at 2:30pm until 5:00pm at the Fields Reserve, located at 2479 Glenn Drive. This event will be a protest at Senator Tammy Baldwin’s 14th Annual Summer BBQ Fundraiser. Senator Baldwin has supported the F-35 “Boondoggle Bomber” and its pending 2023 deployment at the Truax Air Force Base. Despite the horrific noise, cancer causing PFAs pollution and degradation of quality of life that this would present for north and eastside Madison residents, the F-35 jets being located in Madison is supported by Baldwin.

Interested parties are invited to join the No F-35 Action Faction for a prominent display of opposition to Baldwin’s position. For more information, contact 608-284-9082 or email David Williams at dvdwilliams51@tds.net

This will be a peaceful protest. Attendees can bring protest signs, sunscreen/hat, lawn chair, water and their voices.  For more information, contact 608-284-9082 or email David Williams at dvdwilliams51@tds.net .
