Add Your Name for a ‘Just Wisconsin Budget’ - by noon Tuesday, Jan. 26th.

In this pandemic time, we are finding creative ways to come together virtually, to share our stories, and to build a people’s movement for a just Wisconsin budget. As coalition member Mike McCabe says, "This is no time for Wisconsin to stand pat. We face four emergencies at once—economic inequality, health insecurity, social and racial injustice, and environmental insanity—that we simply must tackle.  Wisconsin can't afford a stay-the-course budget that maintains the status quo. We need the governor and state legislators to think much bigger and act far more boldly than they have been."

Please, take 2 minutes and sign on to the people’s “Call for a Just Wisconsin Budget”.

Any names that are submitted by 12:00 pm tomorrow (Tuesday, 1/26), will be submitted with other “First Signers” in the first delivery of this “Call” that will go to Governor Evers and Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes that afternoon.  Also, please invite your friends, groups that you are a part of, your family, your faith community, your clubs, etc. . .  to join you in adding their names to our growing and united call for a just and moral budget. It is time that "We, the People" addresses the needs of all Wisconsinites, and give our children a hope for a livable future.
