SUMMARY:Webinar: Liberation Theology and the Church
DESCRIPTION:\nThe election of Pope Leo (from Chicago via Peru) as the successor to Pope Francis (from Argentina), the new Latin-American trajectory of the Catholic Church is undeniable. With Liberation Theology providing the fuel for this thrust away from the Eurocentric Church, a review its origins and development will help us understand how exciting this moment really is!\n\n\n\nHow did Joseph Ratzinger pivot from interrogating Liberation Theology to setting the stage for its installation as the operating system for the Global Church in the Third Millennium?\n\n\n\nWas Pope John Paul II really on the verge of removing Oscar Romero as Archbishop at the time he was assassinated?\n\n\n\nWas the CIA really involved in operations to suppress the spread of Liberation Theology??\n\n\n\nFind out on Thursday October 1st at 6:30 pm Central Time!\n\n\n\nHere is the Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82211360578 ( https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82211360578 )\n\n\n\nTimothy C.
