We, the ordinary citizens, feel compelled to assist. We have united to share knowledge in hopes to educate, empower, and engage our communities.\n\n\n\nWayman African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church is a historic, faith-based institution located at 424 N Memorial Drive in Racine, Wisconsin. It is recognized as the oldest AME church in the state of Wisconsin.\n\n\n\nFor well over a century, the church has served as a spiritual beacon and community hub for Racine’s Black community and they graciously opened their doors to join the Latino community. Together with other denominations we will pray for integrity, honesty, full disclosure, restoration, and healing, and most of all that ordinary people continue forward creating an extraordinary movement for democracy.\n\n\n\nHERE IS OUR PLAN:\n\n\n\nPeople will join us on Saturday July 25, at 3 pm – 5 pm. Wayman AME Church to gather, and share facts. we will have a prayer walk to 6 th St bridge, (singing we shall overcome in English and Spanish and ven con nosotros a caminar)\n\n\n\nWe shall overcome in English\n\n\n\nSpanish version\n\n\n\nVen con nosotros a caminar\n\n\n\nAs we stand at the 6st bridge we will sing\n\n\n\nDe Colores\n\n\n\nPray one decade of the Rosary We will need 10 volunteers to recite the prayer Hail Mary I will have copies\n\n\n\nThen toss white carnations – in memory Johan and in memory of Lorenzo orange marigolds, known as cempasúchil.\n\n\n\nYou are welcome to join us in person. Yes, bring your signs.\n\n\n\nor at the same time in your homes, vehicle, work or play—stop at 3 and pray. Sing the same songs and recite the rosary.
