DESCRIPTION:\nWAVE Educational Fund hosts monthly Virtual Action Team Meetings that connect advocates with policy experts, community leaders, and others working to prevent gun violence and create safer communities. \n\n\n\nOn June 23rd, 2026, we will be hosting a Virtual Action Team Meeting featuring Amanda Powers, Director of the Wisconsin Office of Violence Prevention. Amanda will join WAVE and Moms Demand Action for Together Tuesday to discuss the accomplishments of the Office of Violence Prevention, current priorities, and what advocates are working toward next.\n\n\n\nOn July 15th, 2026, we will host another Virtual Action Team Meeting featuring former U.S. Attorney James Santelle. James will lead a discussion on the promise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and how gun violence remains one of the greatest modern threats to those ideals. \n\n\n\nPlease join us and share these events.
