This response to in inhumanity happening at our border is organized by "grannies" but all who align with the vision are invited to join.
 
We have the opportunity to travel in the Merry Green Marvel www.merrygreenmarvel.org - a refurbished tour bus, used for experiential ed and service learning trips.

Reclaim Armistice Day

2018 is the 100th anniversary of the 1918 Armistice, ending WWI. Bells, especially church bells, rang around the world, 11 times at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month.

The ringing of the bells, and the massive movement that followed called for THE WAR TO END ALL WAR to be just that.

It is time to ring the bells again.

Building Unity - Water is Life - Solidarity Tour

Building Unity will begin its tour across the state in solidarity with our Wisconsin Water Protectors on August 4th and 5th!
 
We will be leaving Madison at 10:30am on August 4th for those interested in joining our caravan!
 
We will meet at and start this journey from the Madison East Hy-Vee Parking Lot, 3801 East Washington Avenue.
 
Our tour will make a number of stops including the Menominee Nation's Annual Powwow at the Woodland Bowl!

Veterans for Peace Convention

Veterans For Peace is excited to be coming to St. Paul for their 33rd Annual Convention, August 22-26th.
Located at the Intercontinental St. Paul Riverfront.
The week will be filled with amazing workshops, discussions, community and music.
 

Abolish ICE

Join us on Saturday July 7th 2018 for a march, noise demo and various guest speakers at the Kenosha County Detention Center to show solidarity and demand the release of those who are currently detained in Kenosha’s ICE facility, all ICE facilities around the U.S. and the abolition of ICE completely. Prisoners appreciate hearing noise demos outside of jails and prisons because it shows them that we are there for them.

Women's March on the Pentagon 2018

In response to the continuing march of military aggression by the USA and to put an antiwar agenda back on the table of activists, we are calling for a Women's (and allies) March on the Pentagon tentatively set for the 51st anniversary of the 1967 big antiwar event in DC and subsequent march on the Pentagon that had 50,000 people!
