Our esteemed Executive Director Linda Honold is stepping down in February.  We are sad to see her leave Wisconsin Voices but are glad that she will continue to do great work in Wisconsin.  We are grateful for all she has done, especially being a pioneer for year-round civic engagement.

• Demonstration  of  commitment  to  progressive  social  values  and  principles

• Demonstrated  knowledge  of  Wisconsin  political  landscape  and  Wisconsin  progressive  issues,   organizations  and  leaders,  or  demonstrated  ability  to  quickly  assess  landscape  and  develop   relationship  with  key  leaders  and  partners

• Strong  leadership  skills  with  ability  to  build  and  direct  the  project  and  its  programs

• Understanding  of  and  experience  with  successful  fundraising  strategies

• Ability  to  work  in  multicultural  settings,  in  rural  and  urban  areas,  and  with  various  socio-­economic  groups

• Ability  to  successfully  engage  partner  organizations  and  strengthen  collaborative  efforts

• Bachelor’s  degree  or  equivalent  work  experience

• Strong  writing,  communication  and  facilitation  skills

• Knowledge  of  and  experience  with  technical  and  capacity  building  skills

• Understanding  of  and  experience  with  organizing  and  campaign  work

• Knowledge  of  non‐profit  management

• Supervision  experience


• Based  in  Milwaukee

• In-‐state  travel  and  some  regional  or  national  travel  may  be  necessary

• Some  evening  and  weekend  work  required

• Fast-‐paced;  requires  juggling  multi  projects  and  meeting  deadlines

SALARY  RANGE:  Competitive  salary,  commensurate  with  experience.  Excellent  benefits  package.
