WCASA Executive Director

The Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault (WCASA) is hiring an Executive Director.

The Executive Director reports to the WCASA Board of Directors. The qualified candidate
will possess a thorough understanding of the individual and social dynamics of sexual violence.
The candidate will have experience in resource development, including grant writing and direct
solicitation. Applicants must have a demonstrated sensitivity to, and knowledge of, issues
involved in working with marginalized and diverse communities and organizations. Networking
and outreach experience on a statewide and/or national level is a plus.


Bachelor’s degree required.
Self- initiator with strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate well
and the ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities.
Successful history with raising funds; including government grant writing.
Previous experience managing an annual operating budget of at least $750,000.
Demonstrated ability to supervise a multidimensional staff.
Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance are necessary.
Experience working in a victim centered organization.
Deep understanding of issues and impact surrounding sexual violence.
Must possess awareness, knowledge and sensitivity to the cultural diverse backgrounds
of the membership and victims WCASA serves or represents.
