. The Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) is on strike to challenge Mayor Rahm Emmanuel's education cuts and privatization.
An ad-hoc CTU solidarity group including WNPJ member South Central Federation of Labor, along with the TAA, AFT-WI, AFSCME Council 40, AFSCME Local 171 and MTI is organizing transportation to Chicago for a major CTU rally on Saturday, Sept. 15.
