Local labor activists affiliated with the South Central Federation of Labor are encouraging union members and supporters to contact the owners of the popular Metcalfe’s Markets and press them to negotiate in good faith with workers in the meat departments of two of the company’s grocery stores and to accept unionization of workers at a third.
