Making Change Through Workplace Giving and Community Shares

WNPJ is proud to be a member of Community Shares of Wisconsin, the nation's oldest social action fund.  Since 1971, Community Shares has supported positive change in our community by providing funding and support to organizations like WNPJ.  That's over 40 years of working for social justice!

One easy way to support the work of WNPJ, and 62 other progressive non-profits, is to participate in Community Shares of Wisconsin workplace giving campaign, which is held each year in the fall.  Community Shares currently works with over 120 private and public sector workplaces and makes it easy for employees to give.

If your workplace participates, please consider giving generously through the Community Shares workplace giving campaign, and to encourage your co-workers to the same.  Designate your gift to WNPJ and we will receive 100% of your donation.

For a list of participating workplaces, or to start a Community Shares campaign where you work, visit www.communityshares.com and click on “Workplace Giving” or call them at 608-256-1066.  Secure donations can also be made on their website, choosing WNPJ from the drop down box under “Donate Now”.

If you shop at the Willy St. Co-op in Madison, please say “yes” at the register when asked if you would like to CHIP.  Community CHIP is a partnership with the Willy St. Co-op that also supports the organizations that are members of Community Shares.  A 1% donation is added to your purchase and 100% those contributions are given to Community CHIP.
