Eight consecutive weeks of outdoor-in-person & virtual climate actions across Wisconsin -

A call for bold and decisive actions, including but not limited to,

Stopping Line 5.

Please join the growing coalition of groups that are cosponsoring this project. Doing so does not commit you or your organization to showing up for any or all of the outdoor or virtual actions. We are simply asking for your public endorsement and to help with promoting this project with your members.

These weekly Friday actions can be as simple as a vigil or picket line in a public space or as creative and complicated as you would like to make them. We have ideas and resources to help you in either direction. Our goal is to have dozens of Friday climate actions across Wisconsin and to link them via Zoom events, social media, and web pages.

More information about Line 5 can be found on this frequently updated flyer:

We will kick off March Forth to Earth Day on March 4th - the last day that the WI DNR will receive comments about their draft Environmental Impact Statement. You won't believe how easy 350 Madison has made it! Go here to submit your comment!

Dear Supporters of Treaty Rights and Climate Justice in Wisconsin,

Please mark your calendars and join us in promoting and/or creating this statewide climate justice project: March Forth to Earth Day! (March 4 - April 22) - Marches & climate actions will begin all over Wisconsin on March 4th, and will continue each Friday through Earth Day, April 22nd (8 consecutive Fridays). We are sounding the alarm and demanding swift and powerful action for climate justice -

including rejecting LN 5!

Activists in the Milwaukee and Appleton areas, who have been leading Friday climate actions for years, will soon be joined by activists in Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Kenosha, Madison, Racine, Shawano, and Viroqua. We are hoping that dozens of communities will join this project before it ends on Earth Day.

*** These Friday actions will be both outdoors and safely distanced and will be connected to simultaneous statewide virtual actions accessible by Zoom, and Facebook!
