Widening the Circle - on-line event: 'Understanding Ubuntu' Jan 9

Event Dates:
01/09/22
The word Ubuntu is from Zulu and Xhosa traditions and refers to our collective humanity. The literal translation is "I am because we are."

Ubuntu is a living experience. When one realizes we are inextricably bound to one another and to the earth and appreciates that, it is Ubuntu.

In this hour we will explore Ubuntu and listen to the words of Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu, Nelson Mandela, bell hooks, and Maya Angelou as they celebrate our human relationship and our sense of belonging to one another and to the Earth.

This will be the first of Echo Valley Hope's 2022 series, Widening the Circle. It will be held Sundays at 2 pm central and will feature diverse guests and topics.
You are always welcome.
