Webinar: How can we effectively advocate for Healthcare for All in Wisconsin? Sept 23

Event Dates:

How can we effectively advocate for Healthcare for All in Wisconsin?

Join our WI Physicians for a National Health Plan - (PNHP) September 23rd meeting for a conversation with State Senators Chris Larson (D- Milwaukee) and Kelda Roys (D- Madison) along with state representative Dan Riemer (D-Milwaukee)!

Medicare for All in Wisconsin seems out of reach given the attitude of our state legislature. For over a decade, many Wisconsin residents have been left out of health coverage. Despite widespread support from the public, we are one of only 12 states that has not expanded Medicaid, leaving over 90,000 Wisconsinites without health insurance. We haven't been able to lower drug costs, provide more transparency in pricing, along with many other health agenda items to help our patients and communities.

So, how can we as Wisconsin Physicians and Health Professionals become effective advocates for a just and universal Healthcare system? We welcome three state elected officials to discuss the current situation and pathways to improving Healthcare for All in our state.

Please join us from 6:30pm-7:15pm this Thursday (9/23) for this zoom forum! In addition, we will hold the rest of our monthly meeting from 7:15pm-8:00pm, and we invite you to stay for all of the meeting! We are very excited, and hope that you can join us. The zoom link is below.
