Wisconsin Democracy Campaign is hiring a Racial Equity and Economic Justice Advocate - apply by Dec 30

This Advocate will do research, writing, social media, and public speaking primarily about the ways in which the issues of racial equity and economic justice intersect with those of campaign finance reform, voting rights, and clean and open and representative government, where everyone has an equal voice. This Advocate will also participate in outreach and coalition work.


The Executive Director will supervise.


This is a full-time position with starting salary of $48,500

Education:  College Degree

Experience:  Preferably a minimum of two years in the pro-democracy nonprofit sector, ideally in Wisconsin.

Skills:  Clear, concise, and persuasive writer. Comfortable and convincing public speaker. Adept at coalition work.

Other Qualifications:

Detailed knowledge of issues concerning racial equity and economic justice.  Some knowledge of the issue of campaign finance reform.  Strong grasp of politics, ideally Wisconsin politics.
