War Resisters League calls for articles on elections from people impacted by war and militarism

We are comprised of writers and organizers based across the Americas with ties to Black, Indigenous, MENA, Latin American, and white communities of resistance. Every month, we meet to discuss pressing issues facing our communities today and invite you to join with a call for submissions. Accepted pieces are published on our page War Resisters on Waging Nonviolence. https://wagingnonviolence.org/wr/ This month, we discuss elections:

We are looking for 500-800 words on the topic of “elections,” particularly folks directly impacted by war and militarism. In your pitch, tell us a little bit about yourself and whether you are directly or indirectly* impacted by war and militarism. Please also briefly outline ideas you will explore or arguments you will make in your piece. Writers compensated $200 per article. Send us your pitch to pitches@warresisters.org
