January's meeting:

“The Kurdish question and other dilemmas facing Turkey today”
A free presentation by Prof. E. Brownson
January 11th, 10 am to 11:30 am
Dr. John Bryant Community Center, 601 21st St. Racine WI 53403

(Light refreshments will be served following the presentation.)

Although recently abandoned, again, by the US and other allies, the Kurdish people never abandon their fight for a homeland. Prof Brownson will introduce to us the history of the Kurds, specifically in the Turkish area, and why further conflict and involvement may be inevitable.

This lecture should be of interest to Peacemakers everywhere.
