Lanterns for Peace
A Traditional Commemoration of the Atomic Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

6 pm. - Family Activities: Making of traditional Japanese lanterns 
(with artistic awards preschool through adult), and origami peace cranes. 
Food and beverages available.
 
7 pm - Program: Reflections on Hiroshima/Nagasaki and Nuclear Disarmament, 
Interfaith Ceremony, Music.
 
8 pm - Ritual: Beautiful Symbolic Floating of Lanterns on the Lily Pond.
