Backrgound: An educational and action organizing event! Groundwork and Wisconsin Network for Peace and Justice are launching Community Living Room conversations on the Movement for Black Lives platform, addressing policing, the justice and prison systems. The program will include the history of policing, discussion, and organizing for taking action in our community. We will facilitate ways people con get involved and encourage folks to host their own living room conversations in 2017!

Action Alert 4: TeleSeminar: What is a Water Drop Alert and Why Should I Care? - Milwaukee
Background: Wisconsin Green Muslims presents Larry Krolikowski of the Watershed Team, Common Ground Wisconsin. Learn what goes into a sewer overflow (literally), why conserving water during a storm event is important, and how they plan to communicate Water Drop Alerts to people in Milwaukee using text messages, including opportunities for people to get involved in this text messaging communication. It will also feature the Take Back Your Meds Milwaukee coalition and other possible ways we can try to reduce or eliminate drugs going into our water supply.
