A DAY WITHOUT LATINOS AND IMMIGRANTS IN WISCONSIN

Sign the Petition to Oppose Anti-Immigrant Legislation and Join Thursday's
DAY WITHOUT LATINOS & IMMIGRANTS IN WISCONSIN

Thursday, February 18th will be a historic day in Wisconsin.

Immigrant communities have called for A DAY WITHOUT LATINOS AND IMMIGRANTS IN WISCONSIN to stop racist, anti-immigrant legislation being pushed rapidly through the Wisconsin State Legislature. Workers will withold their labor, businesses will close, and students will walk out to join the mobilization at the Capitol at 10am in Madison on the State Street side.

Please sign the petition being circulated to stop the bills!

AB450/SB369 would lead police to investigate people's immigration status and detain undocumented people for deportation. The bill would lead to increased racial profiling and make immigrant community members afraid to report crimes, endangering the safety of the broader community. SB533/AB723 would block counties statewide from issuing local identification cards to people who cannot access state ID.

Can you join us at the Capitol Thursday? Click here to confirm your presence!

Buses and caravans are leaving from cities across the state. Check here to view and add updated travel information.

Please join us and sign this petition in support of the immigrant workers and their families who are targeted by these bills!

Finally, can you share this invitation with your contacts?

Thank you, see you Thursday, and remember ¡la unión hace la fuerza!
