Executive Director - GSAFE

We are looking for a person who can deepen our work in this next stage of organizational transformation around racial, trans, and gender justice - specifically in regards to resource development, organizational culture shift, and strategic statewide expansion.
The Executive Director is responsible for managing the daily operations of GSAFE and implementing the mission, vision, strategic goals and objectives of the organization.  The Executive Director is responsible for strategic planning, board development, community collaborations and partnerships, staff management, revenue development, management of finances, and the quality and effectiveness of programmatic work.  Specifically, the Executive Director will:
  • Lead organizational development efforts, with particular skills around LGBTQ+ justice, education, trans and gender justice, racial justice, policy advocacy, and youth leadership.
  • Develop and implement fundraising plans, with a particular focus on major donor fundraising and grant/contract development.
  • Ensure effective financial and operational management.
  • Manage programs, specifically through ensuring alignment with mission and strategic plan, engaging in policy advocacy efforts, and overseeing evaluation tools and research to ensure efficacy.
