Environmental work group
MISSION of the WNPJ Environmental Work Group:
To promote renewable, sustainable energy; to preserve our natural resources; and to end environmental degradation and pollution.
Objectives for 2010:
- Participate in Conservation Lobby Day at the Capitol on Feb. 25.
- Build alliances with state and national environmental organizations;
- Do outreach to the public at the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair;
- Work to preserve existing state regulations on nuclear power reactors
- Promote a Carbon Free Nuclear Free energy policy for Wisconsin
